Brandbassador was founded by the creators of Onepiece - a pioneer in the adult onesie industry. Searching for a solution to a number of painful manual tasks involved in managing their ambassador marketing program, founders Thomas and Ole created their own internal system to alleviate the problem. Little did they know, it was a problem countless brands are facing and need a solution to.
Since its inception, the platform has been changing the face of ambassador marketing and Brandbassador aims to be the number one resource for ambassador marketing education and growth.

Timeline

Brandbassador 1.0 goes Live
Onepiece launches their first portal where ambassadors can log in, create their own discount codes, redeem freebies, and withdraw their commission.

PieceKeepers Launch
Onepiece launches the PieceKeeper program. Missions (marketing tasks) are introduced for the first time where ambassadors can earn rewards by completing actions on or offline.

Social Currency
With the Onepiece Store in New York City, Social Currency launches. For the first time, rewards are automated and given based on social media followers and engagement.

Brandbassador Becomes a Separate Company
Brandbassador's relaunch introduces it as a platform separate from Onepiece. New opportunities open up for ambassadors, who can now work with other brands like Popsockets and Daniel Wellington.

Brandbassador Yacht Trip in Caribbean
Onepiece creates a challenge through Brandbassador to create $1 million in revenue from ambassadors. The goal is met and the top 10 Onepiece ambassadors were rewarded with an epic yacht trip in the Caribbean.

Seed Round
The first capital raise was completed to build a competent board and get in strategic partners like Jørn Lyseggen from Meltwater, Micke Paqvalen from Kiosked, and Carl-Erik Hagen from Canica International.

New Brandbassador BETA
After 18 months of development, the new Brandbassador platform launches, using the latest in cutting-edge technology to help brands streamline and optimise their ambassador marketing.

App Live in iTunes and Google Play store
Working hard to create a true mobile and gamified experience for ambassadors, the Brandbassador App launches on iTunes and the Google Play store.

50 Brands Live on Brandbassador
There are now 50 Brands live on Brandbassador from all different industries around the world. Brands are now able to reward their ambassadors with cash, gift cards, and free products from one user-friendly, centralised platform.

250k Ambassadors
250k users are signed up on the Brandbassador app and make up a powerful ecosystem of social media advocates and trendsetters from around the globe working alongside their favourite brands to create social buzz and drive sales.
