Brands use the Brandbassador platform to build gamified missions for their ambassadors to create genuine, user-generated content, amplify social engagement, and increase revenue.
Brandbassador was founded by the Founders of Onepiece - as pioneers in the early social media marketing space they made their onesies a world-wide fashion phenomenon with help from their global community of ambassadors generating social buzz and revenue at scale. Brandbassador provides the toolbox for any brand to achieve similar success in ambassador marketing.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative Manager to take our SDR team to the next level (the current team consists of 19 SDRs). In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training & motivating a team of high performing individuals. You will coach your reps on proper prospecting and discovery techniques, to make sure that prospects are converted into qualified opportunities. In this role, you will report to and work closely with our VP of Sales to grow the pipeline for our sales team. You will be a frontline manager focused on building the sales pipeline and smashing through team quotas.
Responsibilities
- Active, day to day coaching and mentoring of the team to develop sales, product and industry skills
- Motivate team members through creative incentives
- Hiring, onboarding and developing a team of high performing SDRs
- Regular reporting of team/individual performance and results
- Lead from the front, not afraid to roll sleeves up, get stuck in and lead by example
Requirements
- 5+ years of software as a service sales
- 2+ years of sales leadership experience is B2B SaaS, ideally MarTech but not a deal breaker
- Consistent track record of overachieving quotas and target
- You have a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing sales people
- You thrive in a fast-paces, high-growth environment
- You 'Geek-out' on all things sales, prospecting and 'SDRing'
- A deep understanding of prospecting methodology and best practises
- A sound knowledge of best in class prospecting tools and how to use them effectively (Salesloft, Outreach, Lusha, Lead IQ etc)
- You're not afraid to try new things, push the boundaries and look for ways to continually improve
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate for this role is somebody with a strong work ethic, an inspiring leader and motivator, a people person with a passion for coaching and developing others. You should be a self-starter with a 'get up and go' attitude. Ideally a prospecting ninja, comfortable on the phone reaching out to cold prospects. A real team player, able to efficiently and effectively collaborate with other teams within the business.
