Brandbassador is a platform that allows brands to scale and automate word of mouth marketing. We work with brands such as iDeal of Sweden, PopSockets, MVMT Watches, Daniel Wellington, and the list goes on. Brandbassador was founded by the founders of Onepiece - a pioneer in the adult onesie industry. After experiencing the pain of managing and scaling ambassador marketing, the founders created their own internal system to make life easier. Little did they know, it was a problem countless brands are facing and in desperate need of a solution. So, they spent 2 years and over $4 million in development costs to create what is now Brandbassador.

THE ROLE
Reporting to our VP of Sales, you will be joining an exceptional, motivated and successful team. They pride themselves on surprise and delight and going above and beyond to ensure our customers love us. As Content Marketing Manager you will have a challenging role of promoting our business through content and stories, with a focus on video. You need to be a stellar content writer, able to manage all the creative resources and find the best ways to use words/video as promotional tools.

Your duties fall into 3 groups, content strategy, content strategy implementation and importantly content management and monitoring


YOUR MISSION

  • Work with our VP of Sales to define & build our content marketing strategy
  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
  • Create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimise the path to conversion
  • Editorial requirements include sound SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
  • Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed
  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution. You need to be a guru when it comes to best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
  • Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU

  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Experience with wordpress, Google analytics, Slideshare, and the top social channels
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
